He shared the stage with bands like SLAYER, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and GODSMACK. He is writing for numerous artists and is the guitarist in a few  bands. Joshua Hernandez from San Jose.

In an L.A. backyard somebody is shaping a guitar body. While it starts to rain, the dust is itching my nose. A Pickup-Truck functions as a work space to create art.
Joshua Hernandez won the "Best Rock Record" at the "Indie channel Music Awards" with his current band DIAMANTE and could take four out of six awards home with the song "Impossible".
Outstanding that the established musician is even that technically skilled.
As his own boss at HOME WRECKER PICKUPS he is building Hollywood's most fancy’d guitars.
He gained most of his knowledge as an employer of ESP GUITAR COMPANY and learned to create guitars with a unique Sound.
His clientele sounds like the Who ‘s Who of the Rockscene. Just to name a few, Joshua Hernandez was responsible for the perfect sound of the guitars of METALLICA, ANTHRAX and JEFF HANNEMAN from SLAYER.
Amazingly he came to Los Angeles just six years ago, with exactly 15 Dollars in his pockets.
When I ask him, why he moved to Los Angeles he answers with: "In San Jose I felt ilke a big fish in a little pond and I was seeking the challenge. Los Angeles is not an easy playground and your reputations do not count here. Here you have to start from scratch."
The reason for his strong will is a result of growing up in a financial limited parental home. 
"I learned at a very young age to be self responsible. On my way up, I worked for a lot of Hollywood-Stars (MEGAN FOX, JACK NICHOLSON, JIM CAREY etc.) but all the glitz and glamour is not that impressive to me. The most important thing for me is not to lose focus of my goal. My greatest reward is still when someone comes to me after a concert and tells me that the song I have written, did influence his life in a positive way."
HERNANDEZ started to build guitars because his family could not effort buying him a good guitar for left-handed people. He saved his money, got a cheap one and adjusted the guitar to his wishes. Today he specializes to build guitars which have different sound adjustments. His guitars are chameleons. JOSHUA HERNANDEZ plays Punkrock, performed in Dance-Elektro- and Hip-hop-Clubs and is the guitarist of a Punk/Hardcore/Metal-Band.
"I am playing all this gigs with just one guitar…but anyhow, I think that the sound mainly comes from your fingers", he said.
He has a lot of fans in North and South America but also the European fan base is growing. A European tour is planned for 2013 and Joshua Hernandez is looking forward to it, especially because he has family in Italy and Russia.
